FAQs
What does my rental come with?
Each rental comes with a complete inflatable Stand Up Paddleboard or inflatable Kayak, manual pump, patch kit, a life vest, paddle, instructions, checklist and durable carrying bag. Extra life vests and drybags (for your phones, keys, personal belongings) may be rented for an additional charge.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards via our online secure booking system. We do not accept cash. Payment is made in full at the time of your rental booking.
I have never paddleboarded or kayaked before; can I still rent from you?
You can! If you are a first timer we are happy to do a quick dry-run (aka on land) with you to make you feel comfortable. Everyone who rents from us must sign a waiver agreeing to the terms and conditions of the rental and assumes all liability. We strongly encourage our customers to self-assess and consider their swimming abilities before renting our boards and kayaks. While they are safe and fun to use it's important to feel comfortable in the water at all times.
Where do you deliver my rental to?
We offer free delivery within Metro Vancouver. We are happy to drop off at any residential address or one of our 3 launch points in South Delta.
Remember! These come uninflated and are super easy to pack around - so the world is your oyster! Stay local or take the boards or kayaks anywhere you'd like! Deep Cove! Spanish Banks! White Pine! Cultus! Go and explore!
Lost, Stolen or Busted Boards or Parts. What happens now?
It's pretty hard to break these watercrafts unless something is really going sideways. But we get that things happen, so in the event that something is broken, stolen or lost we take a damage deposit at the time of your booking (we don't process this unless we have to). Each rental kit has a laminated checklist of each item that must be returned to ensure you won't be charged the damage fee.
How old do I have to be to rent a board or kayak?
Renters must be 19+ to rent our personal watercrafts. Youth under the age of 16 must also be accompanied by an adult on the water with a 1:1 youth to adult ratio. Parents or guardians must also sign consent form. Kayakers wishing to paddle alone must be able to explain a solo recovery of a capsized kayak.
